they are both about the same price and specs, which ones should I get? Any suggestions on which is a better binocular?

I use Nikon Monarch 8X40s. My hunting buddy has Leupold Wind River Pinnacles 8X42s. I would trade with him in a New York minute. They are lighter (weight) and clearer.

I have them both. Get the Lupys. You won't be disapointed!

both are good binos. my choice would be and will be soon the WR Pinnacles in 10x42. a little lighter and clearer than the Monarches.

I have some B&L Legacy in 8X42 and they are incredible. Very crisp and bright.

I use my Wind River 10x42's 99% of the time and love them. I was looking at the Nikons also and both are nice. I was able to catch the WR on sale at Cabelas for $220 so that made my decision. I also have the B&L legends in my truck and they are nice for the $$$ too. I like the WR most of all though!
