I recently purchased a bow that came with a sight the sigh does not have any bolts to attach to the bow what kind of thread/pitch does the riser take so i don’t run the risk of destroying a riser

yes,....10-24 is the industry standard for sight screws. there used to be some bows that were 8-32 years ago, but that does not exist anymore,..all bows are 10-24.

You say years ago the bow is 2014 is it still 10-24?

We’re talking about the pre-mid 1970s here, so you’re good with 10-24. Unless it’s some unusual bow made for the European market, in which case it might be a Metric threading.
