I noticed that some guys have their sights as far away from the bow as they can get them. What is the benefit or downside to this. I have another hole I can push mine forward to, and I need some input. It would seem that the pins would appear smaller and help one aim small and therefore miss small. Is this correct?
All opinions welcome.
Thanks James

you get more accuracy when the distance between the points were you are aiming is longer, peep-scope, but you also see more of your moving the bow, so it´s a balanceact and you need to fins a zone were you are comfortable.
the magnification of the scope also increases when the lens is further from your eye.
a 6x lens does not have to be a 6x magnification in reality, check out Sureloc:s site, they have a chart for this, there.

Nito pretty well covered the differences. I like to get the peep sight to be concentric with the sight housing or scope. In some cases, such as FITA and lower poundage bow, the sight has to be moved in. This shortens the travel need and keeps the arrow from going though the scope.
