New to archery and planning on getting the Eliminator Pro (btw, what everyone says about Mitchell is right on -- he's top notch in responsiveness and customer service). Have an opportunity to choose my sight pin colors and am trying to decide between 4 and 5 pins. I plan to use my bow primarily for hunting (though will do lots of target practicing).

Which colors are easiest to see?
Though I'm sure it's personal preference, would love to hear some opinions on different color pins versus all the same color (presumably whatever is brightest)?
Also, four pins or five?

Any related thoughts are greatly appreciated.

personally i like 3 pins, i think if you have 4 or 5 your tempted to take longer shots that would end up wounding more game. just my opinion though

I just ordered a new sight with the following:
5 pins
.19 Green
.19 Yellow
.10 Green
.10 Yellow
.10 Green

I will only be using 3 pins for hunting, but will use all 5 for practice. I can see green and yellow the best and I wanted to alternate them so it will be easier to pick the right pin. Red tends to wash out as the light starts fading.

What do you think of blue? I've heard green is brightest but that blue is a close second.

I put the yellow in the middle so I dont get confused. I dont think anything compares to green for hunting situations.

I have tried blue outdoors and did not like it at all.
Indoors it showed up well.
