I currently have a Trophy Ridge Flatliner with .019 size pins. I've been looking at upgrading to a Sword. I need something to work for both 3D and hunting. Are the .010 pins too small for hunting?

I use them for hunting.

But it depends on your vision, I guess.

You can order the sights with the 20 at .019 and the rest at .010 if you like.

I found the .010's to be alittle small for hunting. I swapped the top 3 pins out for .019's and the bottom 2 I left the .010's. I really like the .010 on the farther shots.

I just recently did my Spott Hogg HoggIt sight ver with the FitzFiber and got both the .019 and the .009 fibers. The .009 seems to small for hunting but the .019 is perfect!

The .010's don't gather as much light so I don't think they are good for short range but I use them for long range (where you are only shooting if the light is decent anyway).

My Sword Apex has .019's for the top 3 pins and .010's for the bottom 3. Work's great. They will set it up however you want.
