I have an almost brand new set of Sirius Orion 250 arrows and had a nock failure on one with around 15 shots on the arrow. The nock essentially exploded and cracked the end of the arrow and Sirius wanted me to pay an additional $14 to get the arrow replaced, now I’m down an arrow and though it’s only $14, I am not paying more money to get an essentially brand new arrow replaced. So, I’ll deal with being down an arrow and buy from someone else when the time comes.

Anyone else have an issue with their Sirius arrows?

They also didn’t post my review to their website that I wrote for their arrows, makes me wonder if there are bad reviews out there or am I the only one ever?

Did you shoot groups with them? Is it at all possible you glanced off of that nock with another shot, or another shaft slapped into it when it hit the target? Nocks get damaged. I always try to inspect my nocks if arrows impacted close to each other, and if a nock doesn't "feel" right when I put it on the string I inspect it even more, or even replace it.

Not saying it couldn't be a manufacturer defect/issue. But I can see it from their point of view as well. They weren't there to see if you shot it more than you say you did, or if it got hit by another arrow, or if it got dropped nock down on the ground. Sometimes companies will be generous and replace things free of charge even when they don't have to, and sometimes they won't. Arrows are very expensive to ship these days.

I didn’t shoot groups with them or abuse them in any way. It was a brand new bow setup so there were no groups to be had. And they weren’t shot in the ground. Their customer service was quick to respond and I’m not trying to run them down but it’s pretty frustrating! Again I could suck it up and pay the shipping..

Knock failure which damaged the arrow shaft. So yes to answer your question.

Only problem I've had with mine, were operator error sounds similar here.

I shot the nock end in target. Destroyed a few nocks in my first couple shoots with them. Chipped a couple ends. Cracked an other.

Went and had 5/8'ths off them. Threw new nocks in them and there fine.

I considered doing that. Or shooting as is. I’m sure it’s fine and they’d never say it’s ok to shoot, which is understandable.

Buddy it happened before I even put a new sight tape. I was equally as surprised as I was pissed.

Totally my fault. I haven't shot more then 3 into the same target since lol

I'd just cut them down as as close to it as safely possible. Clean and square it. Bend it. If it doesn't Crack or pop. Let it rip.

Orions are excellent arrows! Nock failures happen and I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it!

Yes, I have had this happen now twice with their factory nocks shooting the Orion 300s. The first snapped with arrow just missing target low but my string came off the cam, effectively dry-firing the bow. Rather lucky, no major damage and just replaced the string. I got a new set of arrows from them this year and the exact same thing happened even though I have become paranoid about checking nocks and each arrow after each shot. My plan going forward is to replace every nock going forward from Sirius with a different after market option. The nocks seem to fit snug initially but over time seem to loosen, which the random after market nocks do not. Just my amateur opinion and experience, too much of a risk to use stock nocks at this point, good luck. Great arrow though.

I shoot there shafts but I use Easton nocks.

I just had a second nock fail on me. Must have got a bad batch and nocks are cheap. If I ever order an arrow again from them I’ll get different nocks. For getting good in the back yard and able to effectively kill a deer here and there, I’ll make something work!

Ditch the stock nocks and get you some easton deep6 nocks they are the only nock for .166 arrows that will hold up to hunting weight bows for extended use and not break or open the ears up.

.166 arrow components suck.. but I wouldn't expect them to replace the arrow.. just cut it down like said above and use it .

I'd use Firenocks. As stated Easton Deep 6s are a good option as well.
