Anyone use this for chigger infested woods? I’m definately interested in it but want some real live reviews

I bought the hoodie last summer. I didn’t use it much due to cooler temperatures. I bought it mainly for warm hunts. When I did wear it I really did like how thin the material was and how breathable it was.

I own the hoody only but really dig it! I’m sure the pants are great too, I just wasn’t sure about the durability of them and still have yet to get my hands on a pair. I just love the fact that I no longer come home from summer scouting with 200 mosquito bites on my back.

Equinox Guard has a thin inner liner to act as a bug shield, outsider tucks over your boot shoes and the inner liner you pull your socks over. I’ve never had any issues regarding bugs while wearing my EG’s.

Durability and breathability are there, too. I own several pairs and landscape professionally in Equinox Guards, Kuiu Tiburons, Wrangler ATG’s and Carhart pants.
Overall the Sitka EG are my favorite, followed by Kuiu Tiburons, then Carhart’s with Wrangler ATG’s at the end of the pack.

I have crawled through blue rug juniper beds that were 3-4’ in height, removing briars for 6 hours and the Sitka EG’s didn’t rip, tear or even pull. They’re significantly more durable than I anticipated.

Be aware that the pants are a different material than top. The pants are thicker and more substantial while the top is very thin and stretchy. Both are comfortable and seemed to be effective. At least I didn’t find any ticks on me during turkey season this spring.
