Hello everyone!

Trying to decide if I really need a bino harness or not. Looking for answers/insight to the following questions:

1. What all are you carrying in your bino harness?

2. Are you still bringing a pack of some sort?

3. Would you buy the Sitka bino harness or Marsupial bino harness? I like the look of the wider straps on the Marsupial and I guess they would be more comfortable. Heard good things about each of these.

Any insight to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. Binos and rangefinder. I also carry a small knife and my release. License, tags and phone.

2.I do still carry a small lumbar pack to the stand deer hunting with water, food, rattling antlers, grunt call, kill kit etc. A larger pack for multi day excursions etc.

3. I only have experience with the Marsupial and not the Sitka. It meets all my needs and has been very dependable.

I’ve been thru a pile of them and settled on the Marsupial. Haven’t found anything I don’t like about it. I carry my phone, tags, binos(of course), and my rangefinder in a range finder pouch attached, lens cleaner, cotton swabs to clean my verifier lense. I still carry my back pack for extra clothes, knives, lights, etc.

Bought a Marsupial for bino’s and my range finder in the spring. Both work great and quality is top notch. I was worried about it getting in the way of my bow string no problem at all with that. I shooting two different bows one is 28 3/4in. A-A. The second bow is 33in. A-A. No interference with either. Not sure about the other bran but Marsupial is made right here in the US.

Thanks for the responses.

I guess the thing I need to ask myself is if a bino harness really worth it. Everything that y’all have mentioned that you carry in it, I carry in my pants & jacket pockets. I wear Sitka so there’s pockets everywhere to carry all that I need except for binos.

Also, do y’all find that the harness causes extra sweat?

The wider shoulder straps are worth it, imo. I like cargo pockets for a pair of gloves, beanie, on the go food, etc. My MG Bino Harness carries the 12x50s, phone, wind checker, hand held release, tags/license, diaphragm call, and lens cleaning cloth. RF pouch with tether next to it. When you Elk and deer hunt out west nothing is flat and you can put some miles on depending on your game plan. Dealing with sweat is always there and shouldn't be a consideration, imo. Comfort and usability get checked first. Last thing I want is cargo pockets filled to the brim and 1" webbing digging into the traps. My MG bino harness will likely be the last I own...it's that good.

I personally used Sitka Bino and it is just perfect having option for bino, rangfinder and for your smartphone / knife. Three separate section and one the best feature, you can detach two small section that is designated for rangefinder and knife. Check the link below to buy. You'll really enjoy to buy it. It'll be the best package in your gear with best crossbow.
