What options are best for early to mid season whitetails? When I search their whitetail specific line it seems like the traverse might be the best option but I e read it has no hip pocket? Seems weird to me but not an absolute deal breaker. What does everyone recommend?

I typically don't hunt when it is miserable but I am talking 50-low 80s

In the EV2/Whitetail lineup I would go ESW Pant>Equinox Pant>Equinox Middi Pant. Hottest to coldest weather. The middis are really nice to wear under heavier bibs or pants also late season.

I have not tried the traverse pant yet, nor the accent. I imagine they all have their place but those are the main 3 I like.
I have the midi that I will use later in the fall. Eventually I'll top them off with my Stratus Bib.

I have the ESW pants for higher temps along with kuiu tiburon and BPS teclites. For mid season I switch over to ascent and equinox pants, sometimes I’ll wear my mountain pants. The latter pairs get warm in anything above 60 degrees. I had the equinox and mountain pants tailored, the legs were much baggier than ascent pants of the same waist size. Really annoying in long hikes to the stand.

the ESW and equinox don’t have back pockets, I guess so your wallet doesn’t impact your treestand sit. I just throw my wallet in my pack on the days I wear them.
