[Southern Sam]

Just wanted to know if anybody has had good luck with these heads for elk? I've killed elk with thunderheads in the past and they did fine. Just bought some tricks and I like'm so far, and wanted to try them in 2 weeks on Idaho elk!!!! I'm shooting magnus buzzcuts also and there shooting great with my tricks at 60yds. I'm shooting a bowtech tribute at 70# with a axis 340 getting about 77lbs of kinetic energy so I don't think I'll have a penetration issue with a 4 blade head. I have killed several deer with the 1-1/8" blades and all have been complete pass thoughs and am not shooting your KE. Gary recommends the one inch for elk but I'm sure you can push the mag. through an elk and I'm sure you will hear from others that have taken elk with them, they really are awesome.

My group used the 100 and 125 grain mags last season. Shot 3, killed 3.

they work very well, just put it where it needs to go
