These are the 3 broadheads I have narrowed it down to. Any feedback on these?

I know there is a ton a info about all 3, but has anyone shot them side-by-side? If so, what are the pros and cons of each??

Thanks guys/gals!! :shade:

Customer Service

You will get tons of feedback on why each are the best and how they shoot great, etc. You can do a search on any of these and read all kind of threads heralding how they shoot.

I wanted to give you different feedback that I think is important. I just purchased the Slick Tricks and have not had the opportunity to shoot them yet, but what I can tell you is that already I have seen what great customer service Slick Tricks has. I had read in different threads about their customer service and that is one of the reasons why I felt comfortable ordering them. Now that I have experienced it first hand I can highly recommend them (From the number of positive comments I have seen I am not worried about how they will fly). I had an issue, I sent an e-mail to Slick Tricks and had a reply that night with replacement blades shipped the next day with no questions asked. Customer service is a lost art that many companies have lost sight of. I imagine I will be a loyal customer to Slick Tricks knowing that they stand by their product and take care of their customers.

When I first was back into bowhunting, I had PROBLEMS getting thunderheads to fly right. I called Gary, the owner of Slick Trick, and he just sent me a pack of heads with a note that read,"try these. If they work, send money. If they don't send 'em back, and I'll refund your postage." Best offer I ever got on bowhunting stuff(or anything). In the end I trailed one deer a total of 20 FEET with two pools of blood in the 20 ft "trail." It looked like someone had ladled the blood out in two perfect pools. Unbelievable. And yes, they fly like they say. In all fairness, I have gone to mechanicals only because of personal preference. You will do VERY well to order the tricks.

Of these, I have only tried the Wasp sst's. They fly good and are death on deer.

I have tested them all and two I would suggest are the Turbo and the Slick Tricks.

Toss a coin....isnt going to matter much one way or the other to most.

My personal choice would be the Turbo's but that's me and there is nothing wrong with the Slick Tricks.

RM turbo's are the best flying and sharpest broadheads i've ever tried.Slick tricks fly great, they were not the sharpest i've seen, and to me they make a weird noise in flight.

last year I used the wasp boss and they worked fine. This year I have been playing with the turbos. They are the best flying head I have used so far plus they are super sharp out of the package. i am getting some slick tricks to try before making up my mind. The turbos are going to be tough to beat though.

Haven't tested the Wasp's, so I can't comment on them. However, as was said, you might as well flip a coin between the Slick Trick and the Turbo.

They both fly great, are both darn near indestructable and both are plenty sharp out of the package, although the Turbos were sharper. The only real advantage either one has is that the Slick Trick has 4 blades and a bigger cut.

Regardless, you won't make a mistake with whatever one you finally decide on

I've used the Wasps for many years, they WORK.
I'm with ya on that one!

Honestly, for the most part almost every major broadhead available today is a great broadhead. It mostly boils down to personal preferences: 3 vs 4 blades; C-O-C vs Trocar tips; fixed vs mechanical, etc, etc. All three heads you mentioned are great broadheads. I use Wasp Boss Bullets and am 110% satisfied with them. Sterling accuracy, super-sharp blades and whisper-quiet in flight. But the Turbos and the Tricks are great heads and either one will kill any deer you arrow if the shot is true.

Good luck with whichever broadhead you choose!

Leaning Towrds The Turbos

I'm starting to lean towrds the Turbos!! From what you guys have said, they fly like darts. To me this is the biggest factor. Sure I'd like to have a 4th blade or a little bigger cut, but you have to hit them where it counts!!

If they fly like some of you say, hitting the mark will be a little easier.

Thanks again!! :darkbeer:

What kind of target do you practice on? The slick trick will tear most targets up when you try and remove them because of the straight edge on the rear of the blade. If you are look for small dia. heads that fly like darts and kill with precision and are still considering Wasp, try the Boss SST. They come in a pack of 6 for about $32.00 which is about $10.00 to $12.00 cheaper that Slick Trick and they are available. You don't have to order and then hold your breathe and wait for back orders. And they won't tear up a target on removal.
My Bull Elk last year was a pass thru with both wholes being wicked. He went about 15 yards and piled up.
