I was wondering what people think of slick tricks and if you would reccomend them. Also wondering what kind of blood trails you've experienced using them. So if anyone has any pictures of wounds or blood trails from these heads i would appricate it.

I am SOLD

I am convinced they are the best out there. I have no experience with the bloodtrails as I just started testing them. I did shoot my computer with one and it left one heck of a hole, but no blood. Thread and pictures: http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=361025.

I totally sold. Fly GREAt, create HUGE holes which leads to great blood. Although (thankfully) I haven't had to blood trail much with these heads. I killed 3 hogs in two days with the same head... and it's still in my quiver. Pretty reasonably priced as well. Go for it!

I shot a couple does with them in the past 2 years and they both dropped within 30 yards. Blood trails were ok I thought. I have seen better but for a small 1' cutting hole what can you really expect! When they fall within sight who cares anyway!! You will love them! They fly perfect! :)

ive been shooting them for some time now and love them. they fly like darts and i use the slick trick mags in 100 gr with the 1 1/8" cut. shot a big boar with one a few weeks ago and left a huge four blade hole. blood everywhere. another guy with us shot a large pig aslo and a blind man could have followed the blood trail and he didnt get a pass through. it hit the off side shoulder and shattered it into a thousand pieces. we are both still using the same head. tough blades and easy to resharpen and use. wonderful head!

How far did ya have to bloodtrail that PC?

Looks like the Thunderhead was equally damaging to the motherboard, but the ST blew a pure plug outa the side of it.

That was a funny post, BUT...one could gain a bit by reading it. Look at the hole the ST made in the center...punched a plug out there.

I'm using ST's also this year. 85 grains on the OG and 100's on the TrykonXL. I'll post some bloodtrail pics in mid September, I hope.

Slick Tricks are just the BEST!

I have said this many times before "Slick Tricks are the best replacable blade broadhead available!"

The blood trails are awesome (I use the 1-1/8" blades) and very short tracking jobs, several of the deer I shot dropped in sight of my blind.

I have been bowhunting since 1949 and have never used a better broadhead.

I love my slick tricks! The are some devastating little broadheads and make some mean holes!

They fly awesome too!

here is a couple pics of the type of damage a slick trick does...

As far as blood trails....the majority of the deer I have shot don't require any tracking...they normally expire well within sight....

This particular deer made it about 20 yards or so....before falling over dead... I watched through my bino's as blood poured out of both sides of his chest like a running faucet.

Here is another one I shot with a slick trick.....it was a quartering towards shot....I know...bad idea.....anyways...the arrow entered just behind the deers front left shoulder, exited in front of the right rear hind quarter, and nearly cut off the deers right rear leg around the knee area....it was literally hanging on by a small flap of skin.....at 57 lbs...I got through lungs, liver, guts, hide, and then busted a rear leg bone like a twig and nearly cut the leg clean off... These little broadheads are the real deal....

I honestly wish I would have taken a few more pictures of slick trick wounds last fall... there was this one doe I shot early season in CT last year...severe quartering away shot, arrow entered in the rear of the near side ribcage and went straight up into the vitals.....that hole was big enough to put my hand inside....crazy! That one made it about 50 yards....and quickly ran out of gas...

I appreciate that guys. Now its time to take my medicine.

Manufacturing told me last week blades had shipped and I would get them by Monday. Checked and am now told they haven't been shipped yet. HOT to say the least. Work hard to tell guys straight, and I don't take kindly to passing on word that turns out to be false.

Am now told they will ship to me Express Friday. Hope I can get them to guys next week, will update in the next few days as soon as possible for EXACT and TRUE shipping info.

I had a bit of a surprise I was waiting to spring, but will do it now. The deal is Tricks have been made in the US, as is certainly my preference, but frankly the source I had here was the best I could find, and they couldn't meet the supply and hadn't had consistent sharpness of late. I simply had no other option here.

So what I did, was to get the best blades I knew how to get, which is to say they are being manufactured in Solingen Germany, famous for blades and knives. So for those who I told I was confident of sharpness, that was my little secret.

Problem is, they have taken longer to tool and get to me than planned, as you well know. But good things come to those who wait, and I will post asap when I hear more about shipping.

If anybody is disgusted with waiting, I couldn't understand more, and anybody wants a refund just holler, and once again I apologize, THANKS GARY
