He visited the Grand Valley State University Campus a few years ago and gave a very good lecture. It caused lots of talk and controversy because the libs were all ticked that the school spent money to bring Ted to our campus, yet they did the same for Michael Moore three weeks prior. Funny thing is, Teds lecture was free, Michael Moore, on top of what the school payed, also charged 10.00 admittance. Total Attendance for Michael Moore was near a couple hundred...Ted Nugent packed our Field House to capacity and then some. 6,000+ on hand to hear what he had to say, and I'd say 98% were all supporters...so that's basically what caused the uproar...libs ticked off that they have very little representation at the GV campus.
Anywho, I mention that to mention that the speech he gave yesteday in support of Senate hopeful Bouchard(sp) was the same that he gave at Grand Valley...or echoed a lot of the same setiment. Primarily with lazy people and welfare, and welfare not going to who really need it because of lazy people who don't want to work. He said he's basically sick of seeing help wanted and now hiring signs up everywhere (and they are up everywhere) while there are healthy people on welfare who are no working, taking away a lot of the states and taxpayers money from the people who truley are unable to work and need the welfare.
Of course huge advocate of gunrights, feels it's a crime that someone needs to have a little piece of paper saying they can carry...it's a piece of paper that shouldnt' be needed and all that. He was packing a glock yesterday from what I was told.
