Do not use the stereo jack.!!! USe a servo or hardwire the camera. You are asking for trouble with the stereo jack!!!

Darren, If you use a stereo jack, you have to get the hole drilled in the camera in exactly the right spot. Be careful!

You can fit alot in that 1040. So I think you are good. I did one last fall just to see what all I could fit in the 1040 and besides whats on your list, I also fit in a slave flash, slavemaster, 4 more C's and a picaxe IR/color board. Good luck with your build.
