I guess that other thread disappeared, and prolly for good reason, lol.

But, a few posts (incorrectly) pointed out that if you repainted or dipped an Elite bow, their warranty would no longer be valid. Got my curiousity up so I posed the question to Elite directly "If I get my Elite bow refinished, repainted, redipped, or whatever, is it still covered under the manufacturer's warranty?", I got the following response:

"The bow will still be covered under warranty. The cams cannot be covered if they’re modified in any way, including any decoration process."

Thought some might like to know the facts. Sometimes facts are helpful.:)

As it should be with all bow companies. I wish I liked Elite bows as much as their warranty policies. Maybe other companies will change their policies to match Elite.

Never really given Elite much thought but that makes me think twice next time I'm in the market for a new bow.
