This is probably a silly question, but does ATA affect a bows speed? That is, would you expect a shorter ATA bow to be slower, faster or the same as a longer ATA bow (assuming everything else is the same - i.e. BH, poundage, etc)?

Just curious as I often see comparisons between the speed of a couple bows of similar BH but different ATAs.

for a stick bow maybe but with modern cam technology the answer is no. the only way it "MIGHT" would be the power stroke (draw length). I find myself with a longer drawlength shooting my 26" A2A bow versus my 40" A2A bow.
