Today a friend and I went down to the local shop to shoot. He bought a 1/2 dozen maxima hunters, and thinks he regrets it. Bow shop owner said his easton excels were to weak. Here's my question to make a long story short, I downloaded and then purchased the pinwheel software, and I'm showing his excel's to be right on the money and the max hunters to be too stiff. Here's his setup:
Bowtech Tomkat smooth mods: (loop kisser and cat whiskers)
27" draw
70lb
Maxima hunter 350's w/ 4" vanes
27"
100gr tip
Easton carbon excel 400 w/ blazers
27"
100gr tip
Any help would be appreciated. Don't know whether I entered everything correctly or not maybe, but I think so. He is also wondering if the maximas being stiff (say they are), what that does for the arrow flight.
