I’m a bout to sacrifice looks for penetration, I‘ve been shooting and tuning since 1987-88 , I’ve built some victory (4mm) vap 250’s full length arrow with a 95 grain outsert 125grain field tip/broadhead and lighted nock 607 grain bone destroying Shooting 70lb bowtech reign I knew I would start off with a low nock tear but to finally get bullet holes out of this arrow it’s knocked so high- rest low it looks completely STUPID but it’s shooting awsome, it’s carrying so much kinetic energy it’s blowing these arrows through brand new bone collector targets.

I hate the way the arrow looks knocked but I think I’m going with it.

No such thing as too stiff on a compound. Sound like you have a cam timing issue, or your d loop to rest hieght is off. Have yet to see a modern compound in the last 15 years that would need more then 1/8 nock high at brace to shoot bareshafts correctly.
have you ever shot 250's ?

Prolly more then most on the site hahaha.

gold tip x cutter, cut 26 Carbon to carbon. 80-100 grain glue in nibs, feathers or fletching depending on spots or 3d.

26 inch draw with 50lb indoor spot bow, 60lb 3d bow.

Plenty of 300x Vegas face rounds.

no such thing as being too stiff with a compound since they are cut wayyyy past center, actually better to alway go up one spine imo, easier to tune and for hunting arrows they penetrate better.

you have a vertical nock travel issue if your d loop hieght is that far above ur rest.

run the bottom of the arrow through the middle of the Berger hole, set everything square, soft nock sets above and below the arrow, sync and time the cams then shoot bare shafts at 20. Report back, I will glaldy help ya through a pm if ya want.

already done all the above ^ reign 7. I advanced the top cam with little to no difference but I'll try a little bit more tonight. it shoots good but I don't like how out of level we are to achieve good flight.

I shoot 300 spine Victory RIP XV arrows from my 26.5", 65# Bowtech Destroyer 350, cut to 26.5" carbon-to-carbon, with 150 grains up front @ 15% FOC, and my arrows are 1/16" nock high at brace. Cams are perfectly timed with a QAD HDX rest. If you shoot a QAD, you might want to check the timing cord on your buss cable to make sure it's not pulling the launcher up to launch position way too soon. It should come up to launch at the last 1/2" to 1" of draw. Also, as mentioned above - check your cam timings. Being nock high like yours is tells me the top cam drawstop isn't hitting your cable at the same time as your bottom one. Sounds like it might be out 1/8" from the bottom. Put a twist in your bottom cam buss cable (the cable that the QAD is typically connected to).
