I was wondering if it was possible to get spirals on a spyder 34 from the factory?

I was told by Hoyt the limbs are to short for spirals.

Spyder34 on the left,
and you can see that at rest,
the limbs are past parallel.

AlphaElite with Spiral X cam conversion.

The factory stock AlphaElite with Fuel cams is a 36-inch ATA bow.
I tweaked the ATA so that the limbs are dead parallel at 35-inches of ATA, with the Spiral X cams.

So,
if I was going to convert the Spyder 34 to Spiral cams,
I would first INCREASE the ATA so that the limb tips are parallel at rest,
like the franken-stein AlphaElite (lose some pre-load...draw weight goes DOWN)
and then experiment with different sizes of Spiral X cams, to hit the desired draw length.

I just got a green alpha elite with gtx cams from the FACTORY. so just because it don't say it in the book does not mean they will not do it. :)

Thanks guys, I guess ill stick with the rkt cams.I was under the impression that you can get different cams but I guess not.

I know the spirals are awesome, but seriously, why bother? The RKTs are grrrrrreat.
