Has anyone used the new Spot Hogg Deadly 7 pins? My buddy and I shoot 3D a lot with our hunting bows, and a 70 and 80 yards pin would be nice to have. I am not very good at stacking my pins. I read it comes with a 2 3/8" pin guard, but am a little nervous about fitting my pin gap in it. I shoot 60 lbs at around 245-250 ft/sec. I shoot a montana black gold now, and do have room to spare. I believe the sight housing is 2 3/4 " on the Montana. I love the vertical aiming wire and would probably go with the .29 pins for hunting conditions. I would appreciate any reviews or experiences, Thanks

i had the SDP micro adjust in .019 - loved it. my old bow was similar specs to yours, 55#, 245fps and the bottom pin was more like 60 yards than 70 or 80. good sight for 3D but it puts you in freestyle class. bowhunter is limited to 4 pins. that's why i went to a scope.

I use the sight and have plenty of room with the fletcher 1/4" peep. The extra pins do come in handy for practice at longer ranges.
