I just bought a used sr-71 from a member here and am trying to find the right arrows. It'll be a 29/70 combo. According to OT2 I need a .300 spine arrow. Seems stiff? I'm curious what others are shooting with this setup. What really blows is I just bought a dozen gold tip pro hunter 7595's, that have a .340 spine. Any suggestions?

I'm shooting .340 Spine at 57 lbs from my SR-71. I would go with a heavier spine, it never hurts anything and usually tunes easier. If you've got the Gold Tips try them, maybe you'll get lucky and they will work. An SR-71 is a speed bow with a very aggressive cam. You may end up needing the heavier spine with it at 70 lbs. You can always back down the poundage to use your Gold Tips if needed.
