Im looking for a new stabilizer. I dont want to spend alot of money but want something to take the rest of vibration out of my bow. What does everyone recomend. And it is a hunting bow so I dont want a what seems like 10 ft fishing pole hanging from my bow.

Look into the Hi Tek Stabilizer Kit, make whatever length you want out of carbon, or, alloy arrow shafts! A buddy of mine made a nice 5"-6" stabilizer for his hunting bow, and, here's a picture of the 28" stabilizer I made for my target bow.

If all you're after is vibration dampening, the SIMS S-Coil performs well for its price and size.

If you also want to make the bow a bit more torque resistant, you'll probably want something with a bit more mass and/or length than the S-Coil.

I use a combination of a Cobra Shockbuster and a NAP Shockblocker. The Cobra hold my sling in place with the Stabilizer dismounted for travel, and adds a bit more vibration control.

The S Coil is a very good stabilizer though for the bucks, it just looks too bulky to me.

The Stabilizer that I have on my bow now is the Sims S-coil I is better at vibration dampening, than my other stabilizer(vibracheck Icon) and a doinker that I tried.

The S-coil now comes in a 'Mini" version. I don't think you will find a better stabilizer for the money!
