It seems like most of the videos I have watched, people are hunting from stands. What method do you guys prefer for deer? Do you prefer the same method for hogs?

I like to hunt out of the stand. My brother likes to say he will be in the stand but youll see him walking around about a half hour later. drives me nuts sometimes.... Though last year he said he was going to sit in our back property stand for the rest of the night and sure enough a half hour later i saw him walking around so i went and sat in it and shot a big doe out of it. He was pretty sick after that.

I would love to do more spot and stalk hunting, but the terrain and habitat I hunt just isn't suited for it. Some of my favorite hunting memories are the few times I've attempted stalks on bedded deer in fencelines and terraces and such.
