Hi, I've been shooting with my superX four weeks without problems, two days ago I changed the release set-up, and yesterday I had a malfunction problem with my superX, in two shots, it made the normal "clak" release sound, but the hasp didn't open!!! It shot when I started letting down. I think it happens when I use too much back tension, because I tried to cock it to a rope, a friend pull the rope, and I pull the release in opposite direction, with great amount of strength, with the same result.
I also use a non-usual trigger (look the pic), I place my thumb finger in the thin post, and I don't know if it could cause the problem.
Has anyone experience this???

Joven, try contacting Stan directly or Doug Williams here on AT. He goes by the handle 4x20

It sounds like something that needs factory attention, and no, the little post on the larger trigger barrel should not affect the operation of the release in any negative way.

Had the EXACT same situation, as said contact Doug and he will set you up.

It's going to have to go back to be fixed. I had the same issue.
