The jaws on my Copperhead release are sticking open on me the last couple of nights. Truball said that they would replace the spring if I send it to them. However, my season starts in a few weeks here in Iowa and I really don't want to be without my release for practicing this close to the season. Any recommendations as to how I can fix this release myself?

What kind of turn around did they offer you? Since the heads on the Truball have pressed pins, you may want to try and flush the head with some alcohol, (rubbing, not Jack Daniels), to see if it will clear out some gunk that may have collected on the spring.

They said that they would only have it for a day, but then I figure couple of days to get there and a couple of days to get back. So probably about a week turnaround.
