areas.on property i had permission . tell how many stands taken and the state you live in.
bowhuntTuT,
I've never had a treestand stolen, because they're on my back or I'm in it in a tree. :nod: Leaving a stand is either asking for someone to steal it or just plain laziness. :hand: I'll pass on both counts.
I live in the "state" of reality. If a thief wants to take your stand it will be stolen. :frusty: Irreguardless of how difficult it is to get to, how well chained, locked or otherwise secured, on private or public property.....if it can be stolen it will be stolen.
* I don't leave stands up because I don't want them stolen.
* I don't leave stands up because the weather is hard on the stand.
* I don't leave stands up because critters chew on the stand.
* I don't leave stands up because I don't want anyone knowing that I'm hunting that area and setting up next to me.
Good luck with your choices!
Good hunting, Bowhunter57
