ATrs,
Vision is changing a lot in last two years and I am thinking of swapping my Sword Accusite pins to .029 from .019, doing away with peep, and buying an Anchor Sight. Low light really hard now.

Biggest question is do .029 pins make that much of a difference? I use contacts and these multi focals create starbursting images. Would .029 make more of a solid image, or just more distortion?

Thanks for any thoughts,

JK

I have old eyes also

Getting rid of the peep is a great idea (for any hunter)

Not sure about the .029 pin especially with a multi pin sight.

I am thinking it is going to be a big blurry blob.

I would suggest trying a single pin sight .029 or .019.

I have found things focus up a lot better with the single pin.

As far as brightness of the pin goes, try a sight from Vital Gear, they are the brightest I have found and are excellent quality.

While my eyes are not that old I did use a anchor less site and a .029 pin and it was a tack driving set up. I would still be using it but my site window is too small know.
