My Hoyt Vipertec is a relatively quiet bow to shoot, but I'm always looking for ways to make it even quieter. I recently put the new small Sims string leeches on the cables, one above the cable rod and one below. I think it kind of helped reduce noise, but that's so hard to tell when you are the shooter. I did not notice anything adverse. Still hit where I pointed it, no noticeable loss in velocity.
Anybody else do this on a Hoyt? Any reason I shouldn't do it?

I did the same thing with my cybetec. I seen no loss in speed....and I've had no problems. I think It has quieted my bow down, but I would say it was miniumum...and once you get as quiet as mine its hard to tell much of a change.
