I have a old Ben Pearson Colt Recurve that I would like to get a string for, The Bow says 62" and 50lbs at 28" any idea what length string I need?

NP, here's another little tip with BP Colts and Javelinas. Set the brace height so the leading edge of a 5" feather is about 1/4" away from the face of the riser, about 7.5". The bows really seem to come alive with that. If you're planning on aluminum, 1916's to start, if your draw is anywhere near std.

Ok I will give it a try...Thanks...I'm just seting this thing up to fling a few just to get my fix lol! , I really have it bad right now for a Black Widow.
