Hey all, trying to refine my string and cable making skills and wondering how many pounds of tension every one puts on their serving jig to serve their strings and cables. I normally use either BCY 3D .019 and Halo .014 to serve.
Cheers.

Having done an advanced search it appears most use around 6lbs, does this still apply when using string clamps? or do you serve tighter with string clamps on your cables?

On Nestly’s you tube video ,center serving tension is 10 lbs. I did mine this way recently but I used string clamps worked out well.
