I got my bow about a month ago, my friend told me that after shooting it awhile i should take it back to the bow shop. He said they need to tune it again because the string streches after I've shot it a awhile. Is this true. If so, what do they accually do with the string.

A new factory string on what type of bow? Single cams have longer strings than dual cams Hench they "could" stretch more?? But most factory strings are made from material like 450+ that doesn't stretch.
A new string can change a bit after shooting - After I have shot in a new string I would go back and check my cam timing and/or orientation and be sure it is correct. As long as my peep is still rotating correctly to my eye, that's all I will check.
