String Question???

I have an OLD Indian Timberwolf bow that I found stored away in my garage and I am trying to "restore" the bow so that I can use to just shoot for fun. My problem however is that the string on the bow probably needs replaced and I have no idea about strings for those older bows. Is there certain brands that only fit certain bow ? What about sizes? Where can I get cheap strings? Thanks everyone for the help.
