How many shots would you typically shoot before you got serious about setting peep,nock,checking ata,etc.Basically,when does the stretching stop?I'm shooting winners choice strings on a ross31.Thanks.

Check it after 200-300 shots.

Winner's Choice string: Shoot it 40-50 times and set the specs (timing, ATA, BH etc.). Shoot it another 25-50 and check the spec and install your peep....your good to go:darkbeer: Other strings I like to shoot in a little longer before installing the peep though.

hey my string stopped moving after 50 shots and iam 600 shots into it and nothing has moved and that was with winner choice strings you will be happy with them .:wink:

Thanks for the replies guys.I think I'll shoot it about 75 times and set everything and see how it acts after that.I've shot it about 25 times so far but it's so hot here I can't really shoot much without my hands and everything else getting so sweaty that it's just not much fun.Love the new bow though,the 331 is a heck of a step up from my reflex buckskin.Everything that's been said about these ross bows is right on the money as far as smoothness,hand shock,fit/finish,and noise.
