you want them as close to center as possible...if you are able to use it high and not have it putting pressure on your bow wrist/hand to create torque then id do it that way
It doesn't bother my arm but it seems like my jacket gets caught between the string and the rubber stopper. I think I will try it low and see how it works:darkbeer:
