I have been reading some posts here about messing around with string twists for dual cam bows. That got me thinking...

On single cam bows (I have two), is there really anything to do other than ensuring that the measurements - cam marks, brace height, and ATA line up with the factory specs? What about tiller adjustment?

Too many guys are so caught up in "factory specs" with 1-cam bows. IMO, it is more important for the bow to fit you properly than to have it shoot maximun speed. You can tiller any 1 cam or 2 cam bow. You can tweak the string and cable lengths a little and the bow will still shoot fine (may loose or gain a couple fps, but so what). Not everybody fits into bows with 1" increments or even 1/2" increments. Just remember that twisting up things on a 1 cam tends to move the nock point, so you will have to reset it.
