I sold a guy a rear mt. STS and he said it was hitting his cables no matter which way he mounted it he also said he was mounting it on a Bowtech Black Knight, I know the short brace height make mounting the STS differant from most. I have never mounted one on a BK so does anyone how to install a STS on a Bowtech Black Knight, Does it need to be cut off and if so how much? I have e-mailed STS but nobody will respond...Thanks

I had the same problem on my Patriot dually. No matter where I put it to have the stopper centered, I didn't have enough clearance, so I eventually realized that an STS just won't work on that bow. That was the old model STS, I couldn't tell you about the new style.

I put one on a 2004 bk, it was the original rear mount sts. You are right, it wont fit up. You have to cut part of the rod off before it will fit up correctly.

THE BEST SET UP IS TO BUY A FRONT MOUNT STS, THE BEND IN THESE ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE REAR ONES (MUCH SHORTER). I WOULD PUT IT ON THE REAR OF THE BOW SET OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE RISER, ADJUST IT OUT TO THE STRING AND CUT IT OFF. THEN LINE IT BACK UP WITH THE RISER AND TIGHTEN. :darkbeer:
