No complaints the few times I've used mine...I'm actually selling it right now since I never use it down here in South NJ.

I have the Summit Viper Xtreme XLS, footrest, air bladder seat, foot stirrups (new in package), padded arm rests, 30 ft pull up rope and clip, gun rest, etc.

Here's a pic:

No pics,

I have a Summit Viper, for several years now. I love it, only maintenace so far, I replaced the shrink tubing on the cable. I use the heck out of this thing, I probably hunt 70 days a year, so thats around a 140 trees I climb a year. Very silent when climbing and sitting. I recomend the foot rest, but would discorage the rifle rest, its pretty much useless.

Summit Viper X4

I love it, extremely comfortable and not to bad to pack in, if you were going to go more then 2-3 miles you should consider a lighter version. Only con I can think of is having to get a good tree in the rite place. All in all the pros outweigh the cons, Summit is the only way in my mind!

Summit Python...

had it for four years now and still love it. It has a rest that can be used for gun hunting or fold it down for a foot rest during bow season.

Cabela's has it for $199.00

we have 3

I have a goliath, my brother has 2 vipers - one with the rapid climb system. I feel safer in that stand than any climber or ladder stand I have been in. It is as comfortable as any stand I have been in. It is also relatively light weight, easy to use and store, and quiet.

No complaints. I prefer staps to the rapid climb, but, I could fix that if I really wanted to. I also have a Grand Ole Man and it now hangs on the wall.

I think I paid $239 (purchased after season several years ago)

Have a Summit Bushmaster. Stand has served me well over the last few years. Was a little noisey at first until you get the hang of climbing. Added a bowholder, silent tape, and upgraded to the rapid climb stirrups - which are awesome. The only problem I have is the guy from Summit here on the forum told me like 2 months ago he was going to send me a hat and he never did.

Well, I have owned a Bushmaster, sold it to get a Viper, then sold that to get a Cobra. After it was all said and done I ended up going back to the Bushmaster.

It's very light, quiet, easy to use, comfortable, and the list goes on and on. I really like it because it has an open front as opposed to the rail that wraps around. I am a bigger guy and that just makes me feel confined and I know at some point that will cost me a shot.

All in all, I say the Bushmaster is a great stand for the money

P.S.- I'll get pics tomorrow

Summit Viper XLS for me. I love it. It has the bar in the front which causes NO PROBLEMS for bowhunting. I mean nada. I would like to have the foot rest however. Even without it, very comfortable. Price is around $200.00

Beware: I think the Viper Classic comes significantly cheaper, but it's steel and weighs in around 30 lbs. Aluminum is about 19.

Great stands, grab tight to the tree, quiet once you've gone up and down a few times and practiced.

Viper X5 for me.

I love this thing. Very confortable, climbs with ease. Easy to set up in the dark, light, extremely quiet, what else.....oh yea the new foot stirrup things they started putting on them are awesome, way better then the heel and toe strap. I dont think you will be dissapointed with a summit.

Cobra w/ air bladder seat here. No pictures. I've had it probably 4 years and love the thing. I've modified the thing to make it even better. Removed the old foot straps and did a bungee modification on the sides for foot holds, 10X better than original or the new foot hooks, IMO. Also added some quick buckle straps to the sides to lock the top and bottom together in the tree, also makes packing even simpler.

Love that stand.

I have a Summit Bushmaster with the air seat as well. I really like this style of seat but you cant get it anymore. Ive had this stand for about 4 years and love it. I like the open front for archery hunting. Also this style really packs together nicely and fits my backpack perfectly. Good stand and good company!!!

Dirty Buck Shooters!!

Summit is the best around. I own the cobra open front, also and it is sweeeet, I had my platform start squeeking and Will Woller son of the owner told me to contact them and they would fix me up, So i called and guess what them dirty no good buck shooters did. They expressed me a new platform in 2 days To my door with return postage paid on the old platform and told me to just keep the accsessories off the old platform. Can you belive that?? Those Buck Shooters ROCK!!!! Not my first summit and definatly not my last...
