Just ordered a summit sentry sd open front. Had a viper for years but always fell asleep in it lol. Millennium are comfortable as heck and then I saw this stand. Figured be awesome for bowhunting, for y'all that have one what's your thoughts ??

I have the closed front, but they are roughly similar. Great stand, doesn't pack as flat as a lone wolf I have used; but the seat is very comfortable and the price is right. I used the sentry extensively last year and it seems like a great stand.

I have a xop enforcer and love how it packs. But every time I climb a tree I'm having to adjust it halfway up and setting down those tightening knobs for the top part (I put a ol man net seat on it) dig into my sides. If idve got the wider one prolly wouldn't have happened, but I got a good deal on this summit today and figured he worth a shot. I love the viper but I can't stay awake and feel like I'm down to far in the stand.

I posted a thread on this earlier in the year. It's an awesome stand. I can't wait to hunt from it this weekend. The seat is very comfortable just like a Millenium M25/50. The seat also sits high in the frame so you can make shots sitting down no problem.

Lol, I hear you. Many hunts have turned into great naps in my viper.

It's nice. I climbed with it last ngiht . I put my elbows on the seat And my hands on back brace. May try my lone wolf climbing strap with it and see which I like better. Setting in it it's pretty comfortable and you're not down in the frame. Seat flips up easy and quiet. Only downside is the way it packs. But it's not bad actually gives you a spot to set a bag like my summit pouch. Overall I think I like it better then my viper , not having to worry about hitting the bar with a bow but I won't know till I hunt out of it .

I have been interested in this stand but haven't seen one in person. When the seat is down and you are sitting how much platform is passed the seat? It looks like the seat goes out pretty far not leaving much platform.

I didn't take a pic but you have enough space to stand easy, there's enough room for your boots and I wear 13s. . I think adding a footrest will make this a killer stand. I've got a new on in garage just haven't put it on it yet. I hope packing it its not awkward way it is but that seat folded down is awesome spot for coat and my summit pouch I think. I will try to climb tomrorow and post some more pics tomrorow night

I nest it like the second option in the manual. Doesn’t hit the back of my legs.

Yes the platform is kinda tight when seat is down but just like any lock on. I see this stand as a climber that hunts like a lock on.

I will say with this stand you’ll need to be comfortable with heights if you want to go 20 ft +. I pucker up a little over 20 feet in this thing but love it!

I wonder why they made the rubber pads the seats had that east on metal so thick for?? I do feel like I'm setting back, I wonder if you could take those off of trim them down. Or use a different rubber pad
