Any of you using the 35mm by sure-loc is the sight big enough for 3-D? I am leaning towards this one because I want to shoot FITA to.

I shoot a 42mm Sure-Loc Black Eagle for 3D, and love mine.

I've never shot any smaller housings. Wish I had more input for ya.

I'm using the 35mm for 3D and it works out fine. I had a 42mm and traded it for the 35mm. With my setup its easier to center the scope housing in my peep site. I still get plenty of field of view with the 35mm.

How about when your in a shaded or dark area does the 35mm make it harder to pick up the bulleyes then with the 42mm. I just want to make sure I buy the right size. Do any of you guys shoot FITA or field archery with your scopes?

I shoot a 35mm with .019 up pin and .010 fiber in it, works well for 3-D, indoor, and outdoor and am very happy with it!

is a .7 diopter too much for 3d and/or indoor? or is it mainly personal preference?

I have the 35mm but havent had the chance to use it yet so I guess Im not much help to ya! hope you dont mind me chiming in to ask!
