i have a dozen ACE 520s with pin nocks and 1 dozen normal nocks... my arrows react the same... group all together, even at 90. its all good i just like the idea of having pin nocks since i feel safer when it i hit them or if someone else hits them
Unless you've been breaking a lot of shafts lately, I don't think the extra cost is worth it. There's a huge difference in price between another packet of G nocks and a packet of pins alone, WITHOUT the pin nocks to go along.
I am running two sets of 570 C3's for practise and matches both with Gnocks at present. This year I am well into my second dozen of Gnocks and worried about unseen nock end damage especially at 30m. Here in the UK one recurve can be sharing a target with three compounds at tournaments.
I have ordered one dozen pins and two dozen pin nocks for approximately the cost of one ACE shaft and if that protects the back ends of my newer match dozen I consider that money well spent.
Thank you for all your input and advice. I was most concerned that the pins would throw the tune as I am really happy with my set up after alot of hard work getting it working well for me.
BTW Gene your products have been noted especially titanium pins for Triples and I will pass info on to club members. Do you ship to the UK ?
I am sorry for the slow responses lately. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Some dummy at the Hosp. forgot to connect the "Painpump" and I got the whole maryann. SERIOUS PAIN!:darkbeer: :darkbeer:
I do ship to anywhere in the world. Shipping costs may vary a bit.
