Is anybody still shooting swhacker broadheads out there? I know they're not the latest and greatest but this will be my first year shooting em. Just seeing how yall like them and if yall got any kill pics. Thanks

Good broadhead overall. The ferrule is a main weak point, being aluminum and its overall length it tends to deform and bend. Blades also bend easily, but I have never had one break. In one instance I stuffed the offside shoulder and didn’t get a pass through, because of how the blades open the blood trail was sparse, but I found the buck. I would have no qualms about using them but there are others I prefer over them.

In my experience they shoot fantastic, I love the idea of the design, but I am not sold on them. The first deer I shot with one went a ways because I hit her in the liver but I had blood and a good exit so I was able to find her. The second deer I shot with one I hit high lung, had no blood, which makes sense due to shot location. The issue I had was the entrance and exit holes where the same size (unopened size). I am thinking the broadhead opened but the blades broke on the ribs on exit. I never found the arrow, but it took about 15 minutes for him to go down in about 50 yards from the location of the shot. So at the end of the day it did the job. Lastly I shot a coyote with one, I shot it behind the front shoulder and I believe it hit the opposite side front leg on exit. The one blade broke off and the other was bent. Never found the coyote and didn't find much blood.

Swhackers were around for a long time before they were known as Swhackers. They were the Sonoran broadhead and were invented by Rick Forest. He killed a lot of elk with them. They were rebranded as Swhackers when they were sold to Hank Parker. I have used them since they were known as the Sonoran head. I have killed deer and feral hogs with them, mainly the two blade, two inch, 100 grain version. They work great. A titanium ferule would make the two blade the perfect broadhead.

This ^^^
I just received some junk ones today. The packaging looked legit but the broadheads are not legit. The blades were junk stamped steel and rattled. I tried to tighten down the blade screw and it just runs through without stopping or tightening down. It was $18 for 3 heads and my fault for going cheap.
