I always put limb savers on my bow's limbs. Probably a mental thing for me, but if it will take some stress off the limbs, why not? On the Switchback, I would not put any string leeches in. When I put them on mine, it seem to increase the string suppressor wear and there was not a difference in the noise. As for the STS, never had one so I can't comment on them.

Do I need string silencers and limb savers on the xt and if so, Are the limbsaver ultras with the double sided tape the right way to go?
The reason I ask about the silencers is because it looks like it has some sort of silencer built in. Yes / No ?
