switching from omni to Alpha?

Hey everyone I just bought a ten point carbon nitro rdx and the gentleman I bought from sent a bunch of bolts with it, but unfortunately they are omni nocks. I seen on Ten point website that using omni's will void the warranty of the bow. I am new to crossbows, this is my first one and I'm trying to find information about switching from the omni nocks to the recommended Alpha nocks but there is basically nothing I can find on the net about it.
My first question is can it be done? I was hoping to remove the omnis and replace with Alpha's but not sure it's possible. I am hoping someone can share some info on the specifics of it, like what tools will I need and glue. Finally I was wondering if they are universal in size or if I would need specific size nocks for the bolts I have.
If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it, my next step is to call Ten point customer service and deal with it that way but I'd prefer not to.
Thanks, Bryan

The ten point carbon nitro rdx shipped from the factory with omni nocks. They are fine to use and don't void the warranty. You are welcome to upgrade to the alpha if you wish. Get out and shoot and enjoy that excellent crossbow.

The Omni nocks will be fine and will not affect your warranty. Your RDX has a nock sticker on the front of the trigger box that says to use Omni nocks. As PCMEM notes, the conversion to Alpha nocks is up to you and is not a bad idea as the new nock is an improvement especially for a narrow bow like your RDX.

There is no way I would use an Omni nock, I had my string jump one and later I found the starts of splitting at the limb tips. Ten point replaced the limbs under warranty but I used half moon nocks until TenPoint came out with their new nocks and switched over to them.
For removal of the older nocks I lightly heat the end of the aluminum arrow with a Bic lighter, with carbon arrows I don’t know.
I will say that over the years dealing with TenPoint customer service they have been outstanding and between that and the quality of their xbows I have no issues with their prices.

If u don’t want to void your warranty according to 10 pt u need to use Omni nocks or Alpha nocks only do not use other nocks because that will def boid your warranty. But like others have stated omni nocks do originally come with the RDX. However the alphas grab better and can tend to be more consistent. U can switch the nocks easily by taking a 1/8” piece of steel rod and thread it through the shaft and pop the nock out then swap them as long as the diameters match.
