About to buy a Sword Apex but not sure if a micro or the standard would be a better fit for a straight 3D only bow. Any thoughts?

For 3D I use the micro. Allows me to use a smaller peep and still have the housing just fill up the peep sight. The Apex does have a pretty long bar so you might be able to get by with a mid range peep and the full size. I just prefer the micro.

For 3d, go micro, less is more when it comes to accuracy.

The micro is what you want. What size pins? How many pins? Really nice sight.
If you get the micro and want to try a large,shoot me a pm I have a large with the short spacers that I do not use. S.ROB

Thanks guys. I guess the micro it is. I plan on getting it with 5 pins. Th first three at .019 and the last two at .010 for the longer distances. Should work out good. Will be placing the order tomorrow.

I was thinking a 3/16" peep. Sound about right with the micro?

that is what I am using with my micro fully extended (2nd to lat hole)! good luck!
