I had two 70# bows, sold both and grabbed the Bowtech SR350 at 60# and was shooting a 'lil over 282FPS with a 453gr arrow. This bow shoots like a champ and was super easy to tune. Complete pass through dead less than 60yds. The main reason for the 70-60 swap was late season whitetail in 20 degree weather makes for a hard pull lol.

Congrats on a beauty! Did you pack it out in loads, get some help or have another way to get the meat and antlers out? When I walked up on my Alaskan moose many years ago, I was suddenly very humbled by the sheer size of those animals and very thankful for a hunting buddy to assist.

 

Moose packing a lot more meat for sure. I had a couple helpers with a very short pack.

Nice bull. I also used to have that same knife in your picture but sold it to a buddy. A TOPS camp creek. Great comfortable skinning knife and held a great edge.

 

I can clean 2 elk without sharpening that thing, well worth what I paid... My adult son has the same knife
