Just got some new arrows in. I got x7 2712. I will be shooting a switchback xt 29" at 60 pounds. Now the question what length to cut the arrows. My local dealer said he was going to use 300 grains points.

assuming you're going to use at 20 yards only...leave full legnth, the spine will be closer to being correct. With that being said, if only shooting one distance, legnth will not make much difference, you'll get the same reaction from all arrows.

I cut them this morning and put 300 gr target points in it. Shot my best vegas score ever. They really make a hole.
