I got a couple bag you stuff with plastic etc. from ebay. Cost was $8.00 or $9.00 a bag delivered. Then went to furniture store and got a bunch of plastic that furniture comes wrapped in. They work great and arrows pull very easy!!

Go get a cheap basket ball or other rubber play ball, cut a 1" slit in it and stuff it with plastic grocery bags. It is very durable, you can throw it into the air or roll it on the ground as a moving target. I usually find a few of different sizes and they work pretty good.

target ideas

Plain old fashioned burlap bags are great. stuff them with plastic and
sew them up, when they get shot up, put the whole thing into another
burlap bag. I've even filled them with sand for broadheads, same thing -
when they get used up, put it all into another burlap bag.

If you have a stump shooting area nearby, take a sack full of plastic drink bottles. Tiem them so they hang just off the ground and have a little bit of backstop behind them. Shoot them with judos or blunts or field points. It's a real hoot when you whack one with a blunt. Cheap and easy 3d course.

Drill two 2"X8"X4 foot pieces of Pressure treated lumber 5 inches twice(holes level in relation to the end of the board. Put four threaded rods 1/2" by 4 foot long into the holes and add nuts and washers to each end. Cut cardboard into 14" X 36" pieces(free at most stores), and stack the cardboard into the frame you have just built. Now tighten the frame until you are scared something will happen, or your butt puckers. Stand the frame on end so the cardboard is vertical. Put in the spot you will shoot at it, and cover the top with a lumber tarp (available FREE at most hardware stores---the big lumber companies ship the lumber to the stores covered in them). I WILL stop anything you can toss at it-recurve, longbow, crossbow, compound. When it starts developing a soft middle section, just tighten the bolts. I would not advise using broadheads in this thing---you WON"T get 'em out---too dense. But it is a good regular field point target & should last for years.

Enviromental fence available at Home Depot or any home improvement store. The orange stuff used around trees and used around construction sites for silt and dust barrier. The material comes in a roll. I cut out a large section and form a bag. I fill the bag with burlap and rag strips. I tie everything togeather with plastic zip ties. Very cheap and easy to make. Broadheads would be tough to remove. Good luck
