what is a good target that will hold up well ? mine is letting my arrows pass through and i have not shot it that much but it has set out in the weather and im not sure that would matter but it is one of thos cheap layered foam targets if you got one that holds up good and like it let me know what it is. thanks:darkbeer: :rolleyes: :tongue: :confused: :cry: :eek:

I've been shooting the same Cabelas bag target for 3 or 4 years now. it just needs to be recovered every year or so, depending on how much you shoot. My experience is bag targets will far outlast foam targets. Broadheads do rip up the covers something awful though. For broadheads I stack newspapers or magazines in a grocery bag and fire away.

yup...what he said. My Dead Stops have lasted for years. The one in my basement has lasted for 4,000 to 5,000 shots at a distance of 9 feet. (I don't have much room in my basement) Foam is best for broadheads...bags are best field points......
