Team BUCK DOEns. Thats pretty clever Jman

Does anyone know when the deadline for names is? Whatever the name of the team is i'm pumped for the season to open, And fully intend on winning!!

Lets get everybody checked in , and have a good time with this. I say every year it's Pope and Young or bust. Maybe this will hold me to the fire:wink:

I myself am always good for a doe, And Have had a legitimate shot at a P&Y the last 3 years, just haven't been able to seal the deal.

We as a team need to set a deadline for our team members to check in. This way we can get people that will contribute, instead of sign up and never be heard from again. Heck I will set it:

ALL TEAM MEMBERS OF TEAM 12 MUST BE CHECKED IN BYE THE 16TH OF AUGUST OR YOU WILL BE REPLACED.

:thumbs_up

good call deer stabber

my goals are to have fun, fill my tags and the freezer. I've never taken a P&Y cause I hunt local only and there just aren't a ton of bucks w/ huge head gear running around in my area. I'm going for a big ol doe and the largest buck I have an opportunity to get for team 12. we do use some aspects of QDM(let the little ones grow and food plots) on our private 120 acre's I hunt, but unfortanetly the land around ours isn't managed very well and owned by a hunting club. the largest buck I've ever seen on the property was a high 140ish to low to mid 150ish. I was 14 (18yrs ago) and it was my first day ever deer hunting, on the first day of rifle season. I froze up, started shaking, pulled the trigger and shot high, right over the top of his shoulder! I never saw that buck again. I haven't seen any bruisers yet to focus all my energy on so as of right now I'm just going to go at it and see what happens. good luck and straight shootin'

Lots of deer running around in my neck of the woods (Harford County, Maryland). The farmers around here have a good amount of corn and soybeans planted this year. Definately count me in for a doe and hopefully a decent size buck.

team 12

Hey guys, I'm here. I know I'll get a few does for the team. I'm hunting some new private proporty that has not been hunted for six years. I have scouted the place but seen very little buck signs. However, it is "thick" in some areas and borders a large creek. If nothing good pans out, I'll go to my friend's family farm and see what is walking there.

How does open enrolement only take 2 1/2 days for this thing to fill up ? And in 4 days only 6 of the 15 people have cheked in on this team!

I Hope the guys/girls that haven't checked in yet are so busy scouting and shooting that they haven't had time to chek in yet.

To get the blood pumping heres a buck I got a picture of a couple of falls back on some of the land I hunt.

I have a few cameras out now that I'm going to pick up tomorrow, and hopefully there will be a couple of this seasons targets on them.

Checking in for #12

I'm always good for a doe and am aiming for something above the 150 net mark. I have taken a P&Y 6 of the last eight years, most grossed in the high 140s.

I know there are several 150 class bucks and one possible booner where I shot my buck last year. Good luck hunting!!!
