as any one out there ever experimented with making different strings for the same bow to see witch material whoud preform better for exemple im thing of making one string out of 452 bcy material and on string out of ultra cam from brownell to see witch one will preform better what will the resoults witch one will have less arcelation witch one is faster wich one looks better etc
if any one ever tried this please give me you imput

I haven't used the ultracam material yet but I have used the
450/452 series.. I found them to have less stretch than the
current 8125 but at a loss of 3-4 fps on my bows.. once the
8125 settles in, it's great... I only use it for strings, not
for cables... I still use the 452 for cables since they are
rock solid and less stretch..everything stays in time better..If
speed is not an issue with you(shooting indoors, etc), I'd have
to go with 452 or ultracam on everything since they stretch
less than 8125..
I've heard from folks the ultracam won't fuzz up as much as
the 452 but I have no first hand knowledge of this.. hope this
helps.
